One of my favorite childhood memories is Spending time at Conesus Lake with my family. We spent most of our time on the water, eating really good food and enjoying time with each other. It was so simple but we made so many lasting memories.
I love teaching yoga because
I love to share this practice with others. Yoga has become such an important part of my life, my healing and my growth and I love to see that happen for others.
A life lesson I’ve learned from my yoga practice is To be kind. Yoga has taught me to be more kind to myself, to others and to acknowledge that every practice is like each day, a place to begin again with new opportunities and experiences.
Three words that describe my teaching style: Invigorating, mindful and versatile.
When I’m not teaching yoga, you’ll find me Practicing yoga or doing something active, with my animals, working as a mental health therapist, spending time with my family and friends or finding a new place to explore.
Three people who inspire me are my mom & dad – they are the most selfless and supportive humans, who always stand behind me & encourage me to put my all into whatever I do. My siblings, I can’t choose just one because they all inspire me with many different attributes – they are brave, caring, creative and always show up fully to help any person or being in need.
One of my favorite quotes is:
“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” -Howard Thurman
